Biography/Additional Facts

Real Name: Edward J. White

White was most known for his time in the WWF as Moondog King, where he teamed with Moondog Rex and won the WWF Tag Team Championship (then WWWF), defeating Tony Garea and Rick Martel in March 1981.

White was still active with various St. John's-based wrestling troops later in his life. He created the "All-Star Wrestling" promotion, only to sell it to Gord Glynn after money troubles.

After White sold ASW, he returned to wrestle for "Cutting Edge Wrestling". CEW was owned by Gord Glynn, the same promoter that bought ASW off him.

White had suffered two heart attacks by 1999, and was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy in the same year. He underwent triple bypass surgery in 2002, and 2 years later the taxi he was in crashed.

He broke two bones in his neck and pinched a nerve in his spinal cord. He was put on life support, and remained in hospital till his death, on August 26, 2005.
